February is American Heart Month
February 9, 2018 – February is not only the month everyone takes a moment to treat the special people in their lives on Valentine’s Day—it’s also American Heart Month. You might not be privy to this trivia, but American Heart Month has been around since 1964, and was proclaimed to be the month to draw focus to cardiovascular disease by then President Lyndon B. Johnson.
One of the mitigating factors surrounding heart disease is stress. Who isn’t familiar with this lovely issue? The great news for us here at Olympic: we know that both regular hot tub and sauna use are outstanding natural ways to help relieve stress.
Finnleo, the manufacturer of the saunas we offer, shared this very informative YouTube video regarding research done about sauna use and the positive benefits found from regular sessions in fighting both cardiovascular and Alzheimer’s Disease. In the video, Dr. Rhonda Patrick speaks at length with Dr. Jari Laukkanen, MD, PHD on details of the study and the exciting conclusions. I felt this was important to share with all of you.
2018 marks our 10th Anniversary as the exclusive dealer for Finnleo Saunas in greater Puget Sound! We’ve helped thousands adopt sauna use as part of their healthy routine. I sat in my very own Finnleo Infrared Sauna this morning, as I try to do at least 4-5 times a week. I can tell you it’s made a big difference in my life, and I believe it will in yours too!
Watch this video! And, if you’re feeling the urge to incorporate sauna use into your life, visit an Olympic showroom today to see all the wonderful options—both traditional & infrared—we have for you. I know you’d love owning a Finnleo Sauna and would always be confident you made the right choice.
