Sensitive Skin? How To Enjoy A Hot Tub Without Itchiness and Rashes

June 20, 2010

Using a hot tub when you have sensitive skin can be a nightmare. Many people these days have skin that is sensitive to harsh chemicals like chlorine and bromine traditionally used for hot tub care.  I’m not sure why that is. One theory is that the abundance of chemicals in our lives has gone beyond the tipping point. The result: more people have developed chemical sensitivities. One Mother has found out how her son can use the hot tub with joy despite his sensitive skin.  Here’s an email I received recently:

Besides the entire family loving our new Hot Spring Spa from Olympic Hot Tub Company, we love the Silk Balance Water Care Product, I don’t think we can live without it now that we have it! My oldest son is very fair and has sensitive skin, and before with the traditional chlorine products you put in your hot tub, he wasn’t able to get in the hot tub because he always broke out in a rash. Silk balance doesn’t do that, and he enjoys family hot tub time now ( he is the boy in the picture).

Thank you for creating such a wonderful product and for including it with our hot tub!
