Looking for a Hot Tub—Olympic’s the place to go.
First, let me say that I am the kind of guy—like many of you reading this—who is keen on researching major purchases. Replacing my 30 year-old hot tub was no exception. I visited 3 major hot tub stores in my area and “wet tested” 7 different tubs. Once I was mostly over the sticker-shock, I was determined to find the best value for the money irrespective of cost. But as always, the only thing more important than value to me is the way I’m treated and respected as a customer, not only at the sales level, but also as reflected in company policy.
During my quest for the replacement tub I found that every sales person was extremely nice and accommodating, but I got the best, most honest feeling from David Bayless at Olympic Hot Tub. By “most honest” I mean I felt he put my needs and concerns first and truly wanted to find the solution that worked best for me. Over several visits, David explained everything in no-nonsense and no-pressure terms.
At first, for example, I was a bit skeptical of the salt system that generates most of the sanitation for the hot tub. David explained the chemistry to me and invited me to test the system. After nearly a month of use, it not only is completely odorless, my skin has never felt better.
Getting it in position was also not trivial, because removal and replacement required a crane that could lift the tubs OVER our three-car garage from the street. About an eighty foot reach. David was there on his day-off to oversee the adventure, deliver the final chemicals for setup, and document the feat in pictures for me.
In the closing, there was a minor mixup with the financial payment, but the company stood behind it and—even at a cost of about $1,000—they graciously took the hit.
I couldn’t recommend Olympic Hot Tub more highly, not only for their superior customer service mentality, but also the quality of their products. Do your research, but be sure to include a visit to David at Olympic.
We just bought a new home, and it came with a hot tub. I have never had a hot tub before, and was really excited to use it. It obviously needed some love, but I did not even know the model, serial number, or really anything about it. I called Olympic because they are a large local distributor, and I lucked out.
David Bayless answered the phone, and was kind enough to look up my address and give me information on the hot tub. He then followed up with an email telling me all the products I would need to maintain the hot tub after a thorough cleaning. He made such a wonderful impression that I will be going to Olympic for any servicing I need, and I will heartily recommend this company to my friends.
We have had our hot tub from Olympic for over 20 years with very little problem. I ordered a new hot tub cover after having options described by David B. He steered me away from the most expensive option, which would not have made sense for The age of our hot tub, and handled my order quickly and smoothly. Olympic has handled all our servicing needs in a very satisfactory manner.
I paid $25k for a fancy saltwater hot tub, and it turned out to be the worst decision of my life. It's been nothing but problems, not to mention the high maintenance costs. Each time I replace a filter, I get a $600 bill because they're $100 each, and there are five of them. To make matters worse, it started losing water in the middle of winter, and I had to wait two months for the part to arrive. In the meantime, I had to fill it up myself every day.
If you enjoy dealing with these issues, go for their fancy tech. However, if you want a hassle-free experience, I recommend going to Costco and buying a $5-7k hot tub. I never had any issues with my previous one from Costco until I decided to upgrade to Olympic Hot Tubs' fancy tech salt system!
We bought our hot tub from Olympic in 2015, and ever since, anytime I come in for products, I almost always end up also receiving information I wasn't aware of as well. The customer service there is exceptional, particularly David, who is incredibly friendly, as well as highly knowledgeable. I wouldn't go anywhere else and recommend Olympic to anyone who is investing in a hot tub. Hot tubs require an incredible amount of maintenance, and it is so beneficial to have the support behind you after the initial purchase.
A hot tub place is not normally a place where I expect to get such notable service but here I am writing a review for one! I never write reviews but this place is different. David Bayless, as you can see from the other reviews here too, goes beyond and takes exceptional care of his customers! We've been loyal customers for almost 8 years now and we really feel like Olympic Hot Tub will be right there supporting us and out hot tub needs for quite some time!
My journey to hot tub ownership started with a visit to Olympic Hot Tub, and I'm so glad it did! The showroom was stunning, showcasing a wide range of hot tubs to suit every taste and budget. What truly impressed me, however, was the level of expertise and attentiveness from the staff.
David, my salesperson, was an absolute gem. He was incredibly knowledgeable about all the hot tubs, explaining their features and benefits in detail without being overwhelming. He patiently answered my questions, addressed my concerns, and even helped me navigate the decision-making process with his expert guidance.
The highlight of my experience was definitely trying out the different hot tubs in the showroom. It was an amazing way to compare features and truly understand what I was looking for. David even personalized the experience by suggesting models that matched my specific needs and preferences.
From the initial consultation to the final purchase and onto delivery and helping me care for my hot tub, everything went smoothly thanks to David's professionalism and helpfulness. He made the whole process fun and stress-free, and I now have the perfect hot tub to relax and unwind in. Thank you, Olympic Hot Tub and David, for exceeding my expectations!
Recently we were looking for a hot tub and considered different top end brands like Hot Springs, Sundance and Jacuzzi. In the end we decided to go with the Hot Springs Grandee mainly due to the awesome experience with Gil at Olympic Hot Tub Seattle. Gil is amazing - he is always available and was really our partner during the entire process. In fact I referred my friend to Gil who ended up buying a hot tub from Olympic too. Even after the sale I can pick up the phone and call Gil who is there to answer any questions. We are very happy with the tub (using it almost daily) - Thanks Gil and team at Olympic!
Don and his team were great! Communication is a hallmark of a good business and they definitely communicate and don't over promise. What they say they will do they do. We've been loyal customers since 2002 and intend to be for many more! Thank you, Olympic Hot Tub!
