Celebrating Olympic’s Founders Through Giving

10TH ANNUAL FOUNDER’S EVENT | STEP INTO SWIM

October 1st – 31st

For ten years, Olympic has spent every October honoring our founders the way they would want to be honored: by giving back. Each year we choose a worthwhile organization and rally our customers, our team, and our community to raise funds on its behalf.

This year, we’re diving into a cause close to our hearts: swim safety and education for kids. Throughout October, Olympic will donate a portion of every Hot Spring Spa, Endless Pools swim spa, and Tylo Sauna sold to this year’s beneficiary, Step Into Swim.

When you invest in your own health and wellness this month, you’re also helping a child build confidence, safety, and a skill that lasts a lifetime.

This Year’s Beneficiary: Step Into Swim

Led by Olympic medalist Rowdy Gaines, Step Into Swim, an initiative of the Pool & Hot Tub Alliance, has funded swim lessons for more than 330,000 children across the country since 2012, bringing free and low-cost access to the communities that need it most.

The Heart Behind Olympic

Alice and Blair built Olympic on more than smart business. Both were brilliant businesspeople, and both believed a company should leave its community better than it found it. Over the years, they championed a number of worthwhile causes, and that spirit of giving is what our annual Founders’ Event is all about.

This year, the cause is personal. Alice felt especially passionate about raising awareness of swim safety for children and young adults. Learning to swim is one of the most important skills a child can have, and too many kids never get the chance. This October, we’re proud to carry that passion forward in our founders’ names.

Creating More Swimmers with Step Into Swim

Step Into Swim has one simple mission: create more swimmers.

As an initiative of the Pool & Hot Tub Alliance, Step Into Swim invests in the next generation by funding learn-to-swim programs in underserved communities across the country. Led by Olympic medalist Rowdy Gaines, the program works to build confidence in the water, encourage lifelong participation in water activities, share the joy and benefits of water play, and promote safe practices in and around the water.

Since 2012, Step Into Swim has funded swim lessons for more than 330,000 children, because every child deserves access to swim education. And 100% of donations go directly to learn-to-swim programming.

OUR DONATION GOAL: $20,000

Every swim lesson starts with someone willing to help, and this October, that can be you. Our goal is to raise $20,000 for Step Into Swim so more kids can learn to swim.

Join Olympic Hot Tub President Don Riling and Ryan Rowland-Smith, former Seattle Mariners pitcher and host of the Top Step podcast, on our showroom floor as they share what this year’s Founder’s Event is all about.
