Olympic Hot Tub’s Blog “Hot Tub & Sauna Bliss” Celebrates 5th Anniversary
Five Years of Bliss
Blog anniversary celebrates longtime friendships.
It’s time for a party – in a hot tub, of course.
Hot Tub & Sauna Bliss turns 5 years old this month. That’s nearly 700 blog posts ago, and I hope you’ve had as much fun and learned as much as I have.
For me, the blog has been a way to reach out and connect with you personally. Buyer and seller need to feel like they know and understand each other, which is why you also hear my voice on my radio and TV spots.
You’re not buying a hot tub from a computer, a big box, or a roadside special sale. You’re starting a relationship with Olympic Hot Tub – with me and my trusted staff.
Many of my ideas for the blog come from your comments and questions that our excellent sales and service staff reports to me. I keep up with industry trends and new products so I can keep you informed, so I’ve learned plenty about what’s going on out there.
Looking back over the years, I’ve learned a few things about you. You care about your health, you’re smart shoppers, and you want to make sure that everybody has fun in the hot tub or sauna. The most-read blog post so far is “Hot Tub to Fight a Cold! 6 Tips to Help You Recover Faster,” from that crazy-weather winter of 2011 that had everybody sniffling.
I think it’s interesting that out of those hundreds of blog posts, two of the Top Ten have to do with how to share: “Hot Tub Etiquette: Everything You Need to Know to Entertain With Ease” at No. 6, and “Public Hot Tubs: 7 tips You Need to Know Before You Soak” at No. 7.
Of course, you’re interested in spending your money wisely. “Buy the RIGHT Infrared Sauna the First Time: 10 Tips That Will Save You Money, Time & Hassles” came in at No. 4, and “How to Buy A Spa/Hot Tub: Hint- You Won’t Find The Best Value Where Peanut Butter is Sold” was No. 10.
You’re also smart about money when it comes to health: “How To Get Insurance to Pay for Your Hot Tub Therapy” was No. 5, and “How To Claim Your Hot Tub as A Medical Deduction on Your 2011 Tax Return” was No. 8.
You’re more than willing to consider new technology: “What’s Hot in Hot Tubs: 7 Reasons Why A Salt Water Hot Tub is the Way to Go”, was No. 3. You like to plan ahead as shown by the popularity of “Indoor Hot Tub? Avoid Disaster-7 Things You Must Know Before Beginning Your Project coming in at No. 9.
And you’re a practical bunch of do-it-yourselfers: “How to Clean Your Hot Tub: A Step By Step Guide To Doing It Right” came in second.
I enjoy sharing Hot Tub & Sauna Bliss with you, and I’m looking forward to learning lots more in the years to come. Most of all, I want to celebrate the bliss that your hot tub and sauna bring to you.
Please share your thoughts on the blog.
