Olympic Hot Tub Wins Award From Hot Spring Spas
Olympic Earns Second Marketing and Promotions Award from Top Manufacturer
Olympic Hot Tub, the oldest hot tub company in the Northwest and the top U.S. dealer for Hot Spring Spas, has won the manufacturer’s 2012 Retail Excellence Award for Marketing and Promotions. It’s the second time for Olympic, which also has two Locksin Thompson Awards, Hot Spring’s highest honor; a Best Service Department in 2008; and 12 awards in the last 12 years.
“Olympic’s mission has always been to present the top product in the hot tub category to customers throughout Puget Sound and provide the service to back it up,” says Alice Cunningham, co-owner and co-founder of the 36-year-old firm that has nearly 19,000 customers in the Puget Sound area. Olympic sells Hot Spring exclusively and has seen customers come back for up to five different tubs. “The No. 1 thing customers say to us after they’ve purchased and installed their new hot tub is: ‘This is the best thing I’ve ever done for myself and my family! Why didn’t I do it sooner?’”
Hot Spring rep Troy Scott recommended the company for the recent award that honors Olympic’s innovative approaches to email marketing, directed by Vice President Don Riling; its industry-leading website; its social media initiatives led by Corinne Cavanaugh of Seattle-based Social Freedom, Inc., who has built an interactive Facebook fan page and a Twitter presence with more than 4,200 followers; and “Hot Tub Bliss,” the popular blog you’re reading now.
“With over 650 posts in four years, Hot Tub Bliss was conceived as a resource for new buyers and current hot tub owners as well with posts on everything from how to buy, water care and health benefits,” Cunningham says. “We know it’s the teamwork and dedication from each member of our staff that keeps Olympic Hot Tub at the top. The effort our staff puts in every day is what keeps our customers happy and keeps our company No. 1.”
