Hot Tub + Secret Acupuncture Point = Instant Energy Boost!

August 24, 2012

This easy self-massage exercise will give you instant energy, says acupuncturist Jeff Zimmerman, OMD, of Westport, Connecticut.

While you’re in your Hot Spring Spa, use your thumb to massage the center area of the foot that is slightly depressed and just below the ball of the foot (but before the arch).  Called the “bubbling spring,” this acupuncture point stimulates the kidneys, promoting the flow of body fluids which, in turn, revitalizes energy. When you’re soaking, your metabolism is revved up as blood flow increases.

Do this at the end of your hot tub soak. You’ll be more relaxed and your hot tub session has already giving you an energy boost by increasing your circulation. After massaging each foot for about 10 to 30 seconds, you’re ready to get out of the hot tub and conquer the world. You won’t believe how energized you feel.

You’ll get a big energy boost from only a few seconds of massage.  Massage this pressure point yourself or trade with your partner each of you doing the other’s feet.

Let me know how it works for you.

Relax for life.™
