It’s not every day that I get a poem about hot tub water care. Most of the time it’s serious business or a hassle.  That’s why reading this was so much fun. Olympic Hot Tub owner, Jo Moore writes:  Sorry it was hazy that day so the North Cascades are not showing in the distance.    Here are some words to go with the photo:
How do I love this stuff?
Let me count the ways……
It’s not nearly as tough
As it was in the old days…
We used to put water in a tiny vial
And tried to make a color match,
And then after a little while
We’d add many chemicals in a batch.
Now it’s just a simple technique,
When we go out to the spa
We add Silk Balance once a week,
Then relax, and say hurrah!
And ‘though we’re old and on Medicare
And somewhat past our prime
We use this tub with savoir faire
And can enjoy it all the time!
