HOT SPRING SPA RECOMMENDED FOR STROKE VICTIM

February 25, 2009

One of our Olympic Hot Tub sales staff told me a story this afternoon about his last sale which was to couple in their 80s.  We sold a spa to a 93 year old woman last year, but that is not the norm!  Our typical buyers are in the 30-65 age bracket.

But to continue with the couple’s story, the gentleman had had a stroke. His physical therapist recommended a hot tub for the benefits to his circulation. He advised that the hot water and the jets would provide excellent therapy for muscle retraining.  Because the couple was not web savy (at the beginning of the search for the hot tub), the physical therapist went on line and did all the research.

His advice: Get a Hot Spring Spa. Don’t bother to look at anything else.  When our young (twentysomething) salesman went to the couple’s home for a free consultation, they had learned enough about the web to stop him every few minutes to check online to verify what he had just told them!

Yes, they bought a Hot Spring Jetsetter model-perfect for two. We will keep in touch with him to see how he progresses towards a full recovery.

Be sure to check with your doctor before using a hot tub if you have suffered a stroke or have any other medical condition that might not benefit from hot water therapy.

I’d love to hear from any other stroke victims. Has a hot tub helped you?
